Melissa Jacob
Controller

Prior to joining Jackson and Company, Melissa worked in a variety of hospitality management and executive dining around the country. She brings strong organizational knowledge and a commitment to quality customer service in every aspect of her position.

Originally from the northeast and a graduate of Binghamton University, Houston has welcomed Melissa and her growing family with open arms. As the firm’s financial director, she coordinates logistics and administration for our patrons and vendors. Never one to be outdone at work or play, Melissa loves fitness and healthy living. She’s a self-proclaimed “foodie” and we couldn’t be happier to welcome her to the Jackson and Company family.

James Reedy
Executive Chef

James comes to us from Space Center Houston – a destination for international travelers – where he was given wide creative latitude. A native of Louisiana, James traces his roots back to Cajun cuisine. He learned to make gumbo from Paul Prudhomme; the key is in the stock, and building the flavors, starting with the sausage and garlic, then all the vegetables, and adding the spices early, so the dry spices can unleash their essence.

From there he moved into classical French, then to Italian, and now likes to focus on what he calls, “Modern Gulf Coast” – it’s Cajun, it’s Mexican, it’s Asian – it’s the seafood! All the regional influences that are here, come together.

With his extensive culinary background, James agrees that what elevates Jackson and Company above all the rest is our refined and elegant service – orders of magnitude beyond what others offer. It simply must be experienced – to be believed.

Milton Townsend
Director of Marketing

Milton serves as Director of Marketing for both The Corinthian and Jackson and Company branded ventures. He was instrumental in transforming the company from prominent local sensation into the premier caterer in the Southwest.

With his help, Jackson and Company garners national attention for its high-profile and expertly designed events. Milton is a standout on Houston’s social scene, featured perennially on best-dressed lists across the city. He is a recognized philanthropist and enthusiastic supporter of Houston’s dynamic arts community.
