Jackson Hicks – Prince of Parties, Entrepreneur and Philanthropist – began working in boutique high-end wine retailers, after attending Baylor University. Clients took note of his adventurous approach to food and wine parings and soon sought his advice for organizing the details of their own parties and events. This naturally led to opening the doors of the now legendary catering firm, Jackson & Company.

In the decades since its opening in 1981, Jackson & Company has perfected the art of stylish service enjoyed by a diverse client list.  It has grown over the years to serve United States Presidents, foreign dignitaries, leading arts organizations, major corporations, and prominent families. As a General Manager with over 20 years of experience in hospitality, Luis is an energetic, results driven leader who supports his teams with a wealth of experience and expertise in facilities from convention centers, to stadiums and arenas. His enthusiasm for great food and heartfelt hospitality helps consistently cultivate new business and retain loyal clients.

Luis enjoys connecting with people and creating long-lasting, fruitful business relationships. Luis inspires his teams to exceed guest expectations at every turn; creating extraordinary events to welcome guests from around the world.

For Luis, every aspect of the business is an opportunity to grow, improve and rise to a new challenge. He has a truly global perspective on operations with a background that includes several premier venues in the United States, Puerto Rico and Mexico including George R Brown Convention Center in Houston, Lakeland Center Complex, Coliseo of Puerto Rico, Tampa Convention Center, Omnilife Stadium, Corona Stadium, Auditorium Banamex and VFG Arena. A skilled negotiator, Luis has a broad range of experience in new contracts, contract extensions, and ensuring contract compliance and supporting new business growth including the development of key relationships within new markets, effectively communicating experience, capabilities, resources, and commitment.


Kelly Biggs
Sales Director

As a native Texan, Kelly started his career more than 30 years ago in Austin.
He has partnered with philanthropic organizations, corporations, and individuals to plan galas, business events, weddings, and anniversaries.

Kelly is known as the go-to culinary wizard to create signature menus mixed with the best traditional and classic ingredients, adding a few surprising and contemporary flavors along the way. No matter the occasion, Kelly absolutely loves turning a client’s vision into reality. Simply put, if you can dream it, he and the Jackson & Company team can create it.

Rebekah Wesley
Account Executive

Rebekah offers clients the best of both worlds – she’s not only passionate about fine cuisine, she’s an innovative problem solver. Our patrons appreciate her absolute calm in the face of a storm. Rebekah shows a real understanding of how to prepare and implement event concepts, and thrives on delighting her clients and exceeding their expectations.

Rebekah began her career at Jackson & Company just over a decade ago. Since then, she’s utilized her dining and décor experience in designing beautiful and unique events for a range of clients, from internationally-recognized museums and corporate titans, to many of Houston’s first families. Rebekah is an active leader in Executive Women’s International (EWI) Houston Chapter, and currently holds the position of Communications Director.

When she isn’t planning the perfect dream wedding or putting the finishing touches on a grand gala, you can find this native Houstonian relaxing by the pool. Trying new restaurants and exploring the city’s vibrant culinary offerings are two of Rebekah’s loves.

Michelle Stobb
Account Executive

Michelle has had a passion for hospitality since a young age. This Texas native is thrilled to be back in her home state and an Account Executive here at Jackson and Company, an events firm who is as dedicated to clients as she is!

Michelle started her career as an intern at the Four Seasons Resort and Spa in Las Colinas, Texas while earning her bachelors from the Texas Tech University RHIM Program. Shortly after graduation, Michelle moved to Tampa, Florida with a job offer from Aramark Higher Education, where she worked as a Foodservice Manager at the University of South Florida. Setting her sites on moving onward and upward, Michelle moved on to a position as a Sales Manager for Aramark at Raymond James Stadium, home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

With experience in planning and coordinating events as large as Buccaneer Gamedays and Charity functions for over a thousand guests, and as small as intimate gatherings for just a few, Michelle has the attention to detail necessary to make your special day perfect. Michelle’s favorite past events have been for Taylor Swift’s 1989 Tour, Beyonce’s Lemonade Tour, the 2017 College Football Championship as well as many charity and non-profit events. Michelle’s passions include building relationships with her clients and vendors alike.

In her spare time, Michelle enjoys spending time outdoors with her dog, Ocala, and trying new restaurants.

Victoria Engard
Administrative Associate

“Good morning … Jackson & Company.” Victoria is the delightful and welcoming voice you hear when you first call our executive offices. Having joined our team in 2015, she has quickly become an integral part of the synergy that creates each special event. From serving as stylist and photographer of our amazing cuisine, to creating artful menu cards, to tying ribbons on wedding favors … she does it all!

Victoria studied Business Administration with a concentration in Management at San Jose State University. She is a California native, turned Texan – and loving it! With her husband, Ian by her side, she is excited to learn what her new city has to offer. Her passions in life are her family, food, music, her Portuguese culture, and going on cruises.

Melissa Jacob
Controller

Prior to joining Jackson & Company, Melissa worked in a variety of hospitality management and executive dining around the country. She brings strong organizational knowledge and a commitment to quality customer service in every aspect of her position.

Originally from the northeast and a graduate of Binghamton University, Houston has welcomed Melissa and her growing family with open arms. As the firm’s financial director, she coordinates logistics and administration for our patrons and vendors. Never one to be outdone at work or play, Melissa loves fitness and healthy living. She’s a self-proclaimed “foodie” and we couldn’t be happier to welcome her to the Jackson & Company family.

Milton Townsend
Director of Marketing

Milton serves as Director of Marketing for both The Corinthian and Jackson & Company branded ventures. He was instrumental in transforming the company from prominent local sensation into the premier caterer in the Southwest.

With his help, Jackson & Company garners national attention for its high-profile and expertly designed events. Milton is a standout on Houston’s social scene, featured perennially on best-dressed lists across the city. He is a recognized philanthropist and enthusiastic supporter of Houston’s dynamic arts community.

Human Resources Manager

Anthony Tran has been creating “Magic Moments” for nearly 20 years. He joined Jackson & Company in 1999 as a waiter, and was quickly promoted into administrative and managerial roles. Today, as Human Resources Director, Anthony has cultivated and trained an amazing pool of talent.

As a true foodie, Anthony has always had a passion for exceptional customer service. He thrives in the fast-paced production atmosphere of the hospitality industry. He started his career at Four Seasons hotel group, before moving into catering and event production.

When he’s not interviewing prospective new talent, or on-site managing events for Jackson & Company, Anthony enjoys spending time with his family and exploring new and interesting restaurants.

David Marsilia
Event Manager

Functioning in the Catering and Event Production industry since 1999, and later joining Jackson & Company in 2004, David is a true expert when it comes to organizing a grand affair.

As one of our lead Event Managers, David prides himself on upholding the standards imparted to him under the tutelage of Jackson Hicks. Fine attention to detail and genuine concern for clients’ satisfaction and expectations are central to his management philosophy. David enjoys training wait staff and building effective teams capable of elegantly executing any type of event.

When not working, David enjoys composing music for synthesizers and guitar, and reading philosophy and classical poetry.

Destiny Salinas
Human Resources Assistant

Destiny joined the Jackson & Company team in August 2016 as the Human Resources Assistant. Bringing over four years of staffing and talent management experience, she is passionate about meeting our staff’s needs and as a result clients get the sensational service they expect from Jackson & Company. With experience in coordinating staff for as large as Texan Game Days, to an intimate dinner party in a private residence, she can orchestrate it all with ease!

Prior to her tenure with Jackson & Company, Destiny served as the Human Resources Staffing Coordinator for NRG Stadium, Arena, and NRG Center. There with the Aramark team she got to participate and coordinate staff for large events including Super Bowl LII, Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, and the Texans NFL Football Season.

When Destiny isn’t busy coordinating staff to meet our patrons every need, she enjoys going on long bike rides, reading, and learning all about horticulture.

Getting her start at Jackson & Company in 2011, Katherine has worked in every department and has excelled in the company allowing her to perfect her knowledge of the Food and Event Production business. From her start with our Culinary team, to Inventory Specialist, to Beverage Manager, and now acting as our Accounting Clerk, Katherine has a true talent with supporting the needs of our patrons and vendors.

Before her start in the Catering and Event Production industry, Katherine thrived as Store Manager to several notable retailers – Godiva and Starbucks.

When Katherine isn’t preparing financial statements, she enjoys crafting and spending time with her two children.

Peter Ogbonna
Catering Manager

In 2004, Peter joined Jackson & Company as a waiter, and was quickly promoted to a Team Lead Captain then Event Manager. Today, as the Catering Manager, Peter is passionate about exceptional customer service and is committed to client satisfaction. He strives to promote and achieve each client’s vision through excellence in catering and event production. He is dedicated and committed to making sure each client’s satisfaction is executed.

Prior to working at Jackson & Company Peter worked at the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) – an international organization in Lome, Togo – as the Trade Opportunity Management System Database Indexer. There he worked for the development and promotion of trade between the countries of the ECOWAS Community.

In December of 2000, Peter moved to Houston from Togo and started a career in Retail Management at Afisco. After three years in Retail Management, Peter heard about the prestigious Jackson & Company reputation and knew he had to be a part of the team.

When Peter isn’t executing elaborate catering and event productions, he enjoys spending time with his two sons and wife, Laqwanta. He also enjoys traveling with his family and exploring their new city, trying new food and loves movies!

Tuan Nguyen
Event Manager

With over 10 years of Jackson & Company experience, Tuan is able to produce events with grace and ease for each and every one of our clients! From humble beginnings, as one of our wait staff members, Tuan now excels as one of our lead Event Managers. From intimate dinners in your home to large galas and weddings, Tuan brings a wealth of organizational and management experience.

Tuan is a true foodie at heart! Since a young age, Tuan has always been involved in the food industry. Following in the footsteps of aunts, uncles, cousins, and most importantly his mother, Tuan started working at local Houston eateries, before joining the Jackson & Company family.

When Tuan is not at producing grand events around the greater Houston area, his passions are trying out new local restaurants, fishing, sports, playing poker, and enjoying delicious Jackson & Company foods.
